The League Management Company (LMC) organiser’s of the Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL have rescheduled the Week 18 Oriental derby involving the Abia Warriors FC of Aba and FC Ifeanyi Ubah slated for the Umuahia Township Stadium.

According to a release from the League Managers and signed by the Chief Operating Officer Salihu Abubakar, the match which was earlier scheduled for Wednesday 8 May, 2019 was shifted to Thursday 9 May, 2019.

Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report that the shift in date was to enable the host have enough rest after the long trip from Gombe where they played their Week 17 match. The Umuahia outfit only returned back to base only on Tuesday.
