Make Maureen Mmadu Super Falcons Chief Coach – Bayelsa Queen Chairman
By Amaechi Agbo
Chairman, Bayelsa Queens FC has called on the Nigeria Football Federation to employ Coach Maureen Mmadu as the chief coach of the Super Falcons team in view of her immense attributes, qualities and capabilities.
Mr Timitimi Ebike made the call while delivering a goodwill message at the investiture of coach Maureen Mmadu into the Nigeria Women Hall of Fame in Abuja Thursday.
Mr Ebike who extolled the various qualities of the Anambra State born coach said that having been with coach Thomas Dennerby for years and served with utmost humility, it was time the federation stepped her up to the main job.
“Coach Maureen remains the best now irrespective of what anybody would say. She has excelled and still excelling. She is a great coach. We all saw what he has done and is doing in Nigeria football.
“Maureen came to Akure during our pre-season and donated cash gift to the teams. She mentored the players and was there all through the championship. She is agood player manager and will bring out the best in our girls. It is high time the NFF made her the chief coach,” he said.
