Minifootball Association of Nigeria, MAN, has commenced preparations  for Nigeria’s participation to the forthcoming World Minifootball Federation, WMF World Cup holding in Perth, Australia from 1st to 11th Oct, 2019, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report. 
At its Board meeting on Tuesday, 30th of April, the board, apart from putting structures for effective administration of the organisation, also inaugurated WMF World Cup planning Committee to plan for the tournament and ensure that the tournament which will be hosted in Nigeria is a huge success. 
The World Cup Committee is chaired by the Association’s Secretary-General,  Emmanuel Zira. The seven-member  committee were drawn from the board with four representieves while the media have three members.
The President of MAN, Andy Elerewewho chaired the meeting, urged the committee members to show commitment and dedication towards the actualisation of the terms of reference.

It would be recalled that Nigeria was among the 6 countries that qualified for the 3rd edition of the WMF World cup after a tough qualification games at the Nations Cup in Lybia in May 2018. Nigeria was also awarded the hosting right for the 2nd edition of the African Minifootball Confederation, AMC Nations Cup after submitting bid alongside South Africa.
The terms of reference for the World Cup preparation committee are include setting up modalities for preparations locally and liasing with WMF LOC in Australia.
The LOC for the AMC Nations Cup is chaired by  the President while all zonal coordinators serve as members.
Due to the limited time, the President gives a month deadline for all committee members to report back to the house.
