Musa, Ogu Return To Saudi Arabia Ahead Of League Resumption
Super Eagles duo, Ahmed Musa and John Ogu have returned to Saudi Arabia ahead of the resumption of the country’s football league, Bestchoicesports.com.ng reports.
Musa and Ogu returned Thursday as they set for league action after the Saudi’s government lifted suspension on football activities as result ofCOVID-19.
Saudi Arabia premier league side club AL Nassr confirmed return of Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa back to the club.
The club took to their social media handle to welcome the Super Eagles winger back ahead of their restart of the campaign after spending the last eight weeks in Nigeria with his family.
“Our Nigerian star, Ahmed Musa, 💛arriving earlier today in Riyadh! 🛬 ” the club confirmed on their official Twitter page.
It would be recalled that Musa flew into the country in private jet alongside his national teammate John Ogu after the Saudi league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Musa and his teammates will now resume training in the next coming days ahead of the resumption of the league after the Saudi government eased suspension on sports activities.
