My Kids Want To Play For South Africa, They Cry When I Say They Are Super Eagles – Daniel Akpeyi

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi has disclosed that his children want to play for Bafana Bafana of of South Africa and not the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Bestchoicesport.com.ng can report
The Kaizer Chief’s shot-stopper who disclosed this in interview said his kids always cry when he told them they are Super Eagles.
He however expressed hope to convince them to play for Super Eagles when they mature.
“My kids, they just want to play for Bafana Bafana. But for now they just cry when I say they are super Eagles,” he was quoted
“I will try to Convince them at the later Age that they are the Super Eagles.”
The former Heartland and Nasarawa United goaltender played an instrumental role as Kaizer Chiefs reached the final of the 2021 CAF Champions League where they lost 3-0 to champions Al Ahly of Egypt.
Since making his debut for the Super Eagles in 2015, the 34-year old have 18 caps for his motherland.
