Naija Ratels, Adamawa Queens Promoted To Nigeria Women Football League

Naija Ratels FC and Adamawa Queens of Yola
have gained promotion to the Nigeria Women Football League,NWFL following their stands on the NWFL Championship Playoff table at the end of the Match Day Four.
The two teams have unassailable points good enough to play in the Premiership before their last game on Match Day Five on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
After playing a goalless draw against Heartland Queens Fc, Adamawa moved to seven points to top the table before the Naija Ratels FC Match 4
For Ratels, Midway into their Day Four game against Gallant Queens Sunday afternoon, they have 9points after scoring one goal in the first half, to move from six points to 9 points. Even with six points, they are promoted.
Naija Ratels thrashed Gallant Queens 4-0 in the Matchday 4 encounter on Sunday.
The other teams Heartland Queens, Kwara Ladies and Gallant Queens all fell short with 4 points, 1 point and Zero point respectively at the end of Day Four and cannot catch up with Naija Ratels (9 points) and Adamawa Queens (7points).
Day 5 last final game on Tuesday’s Day 5 last game between Naija Ratels and Adamawa Queens would be to decide the NWFL Championship League winners for the 2020/2021season.
Just as it was experienced at the NWFL Premiership in Ijebu Ode and the NWFL Championship is also in photo finish a testament to the improved standard of the three tiers of the NWFL leagues.
