NANPF FCT Enlightens Footballers on Rights, Discipline
The FCT Chapter of the National Association of Nigeria Professional Footballers, NANPF enlightened footballers in a seminar that was held at the Sports Hall, Area 10 Sports Complex, Abuja.
In attendance was Comrade Clement Temile, Vice President NANPF and the General Secretary, Austin Popo, where players were educated by major stakeholders in the round leather game as well the media.
The Secretary, FCT FA, Mr. Ilerika Haruna was able to grasp in the mind of the players the need to be successful in their career and how it can be accomplished while a player’s relationship with the media was also emphasized by the FCT SWAN Vice Chairman, Tolulope Oguntimehin for better projection for the business aspect of the game.
Mrs Bose Momoh, FIFA Badge Referee brushed the discipline aspect of the players on the pitch which cannot be over emphasized.
Mr. Godwin Bamigboye, Chairman FCT Coaches Association was also on ground to add up his wealth of experience.
In his remark, Austin Popo expressed delight with the seminar as he congratulated the players for having the privilege to get better in their career.
“This is a rare opportunity the players have enjoyed and I hope they put all they have learnt to practice.
” I also want to appreciate the FCT Chapter of the Association for a good job. I wish other chapters can emulate them.”
