Nasarawa, Benue, Niger Missing As North-Central National Principal’s Cup Playoff Begins In Jos

Jos, Plateau State Capital, is agog as the North-Central Zonal playoff of the National Principal’s Cup commences.

States in the North-Central zone converged at the Peace and Tourist state to determine who flies the zone’s flag at the national level.

Among the seven states that make up the zone, Kogi, Kwara, the Federal Capital Territory and host state, Plateau are taking part while three others, Nasarawa, Benue and Niger dịd not have representatives.

No reason was given for their absence at the time of this report.

Meanwhile three events are up for grab for the four states with football, athletics and tables tennis featuring.

Team FCT is represented in football and athletics by Fosla Academy

The events to be completed for are football (male only), 4×100m for male and female, 4×100m mixed, High Jump, Discus and Table Tennis Double.

Fosla Academy is representing FCT in Football, 4×100m race as well as table tennis.

The overall winners of each event will represent the zone at the national final slated for next week.
