The Nigerian duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will not be defending their English FA Cup trophy they won in May last year after Leicester City suffered a Humiliting 4-1 defeat in the 4th round, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The Foxes who defeated Chelsea 1-0 last year will not defend their FA Cup title after they lost 4-1 to Nottingham Forest on Sunday evening.

The hosts were the better team through the match and thoroughly deserved the win.

Leicester failed to heed to a 19th-minute warning when Keinan Davis latched on to an accurate pass inside the box and fired a bullet of a shot but it crashed against the crossbar.

The goal arrived less than five minutes later as Philip Zinckernagel scored with a shot from inside the box after latching onto a headed pass from Davis.

It was 2-0 two minutes later as the ball fell to Brennan Johnson after some poor defending, and he found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and calmly put the ball into the back of the net.

Zinckernagel then forced a good save from the keeper just after the half-hour mark after picking up a rebound following chaos in the box and directed a sweet strike towards the bottom right corner but was met with a clean save.

The hosts made it 3-0 in the 32nd minute as Joe Worrall found himself in the right place at the right time, planting his header into the middle of the goal.

Kelechi Iheanacho pulled one for the Foxes just before the break after bursting into the box following a great solo run and got one-on-one with the keeper, who he neatly side-stepped and rolled the ball into an empty net.

Djed Spence then wrapped up the win with a spectacular strike on the hour-mark after he was played through by Zinckernagel, reacting quickly to beat the keeper from close-range.

Despite Leicester creating chances in the last 20 minutes, there was no way back as they crashed out of the tournament.

Nottingham will now face Huddersfield Town in the fifth round of the competition.
