Bestchoicesports can report authoritatively that the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, for the umpteenth time,  has disbanded the home-based Super Falcons called to camp early this month without paying them their fares.
Players who spoke to Bestchoicesports on condition of anonymity for fear of victimisation by the federation, lamented that they were asked to leave the camp without being paid camp allowance as well as money for their transportation back to their various clubs
Our reporter gathered that the players who left camp this morning were asked to submit their account details and expect it to be credited.
However, the players expressed dissatisfaction with the arrangement lamenting that on several occasions they had submitted their accounts details with the federation, yet they never received any alert.
It was further gathered that earlier camps the players had, they where not paid their fare to and from the camp.
This is despite the fact that some of the players in an efforts to meet up with the camp opening deadline day boarded flight to Abuja only to be disappointed by the federation who made promises but kept none.
What seems an unfair treatment is the fact that the only foreign player in the camp (name withheld) our reporter gathered, had her two flights tickets to and fro the camp all paid for by NFF.
We Are Tired of “Dropping” Our Accounts Numbers
One of the players told our reporter,  “We are tired of dropping our account numbers. In our last camping, they told us to drop our account details that they will credit them soon. But we never saw anything.
“It was a let down. Many players were left dejected, some were crying because they had no money. In fact, one of the coaches had to give some players money to travel back home. We want NFF to fulfil their promise and credit out accounts,” the player concluded anonymously.
Responding to an SMS sent to him on the matter after, NFF President, Amaju Pinnick responded “They will be sorted out.”
It could be recalled that Super Falcons coach, Thomas Dennerby on march 18, 2018 called to camp 30 home-based professionals for a preliminary camp of the Super Falcons as preparations for this summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The team, Bestchoicesports understands, was decamped this morning but they will be recalled to camp ahead of the WAFU Women’s Cup.
