USA-based Nigerian coach, Michael Nsien has identified reasons Nigeria has not been able to go far in FIFA World Cup despite being the most successful U-17 World Cup tournament country for five times, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Speaking in an exclusive interview from his base in the US, Coach Nsien told Nigeria’s foremost WhatsApp sports group, NSM Rebranded, that with proper age-grade transition and discipline, to the senior national team, the Super Eagles, Nigeria will win the World Cup.

Coach Nsien who is the head coach of FC Tulsa in the US League with two Super Eagles players is optimistic that with the array of talented players in the country who are making waves globally and locally, Nigeria has the potentials to take the world by storm in football.

The Nigerian Born Fc Tulsa coach Michael Nsien is flying the nation’s flag high in the U.S and is hoping to reciprocate same feat if given the opportunity to coach the Youth Team.

Coach Nesin also believes that if given the Flying Eagles job as the Head coach or Assistant, he will put every player on the path to achieve greatness.

“If I was the Coach or Assistant, one of the first things I will do is to try to get everyone on the same page, all the coaches will sit down and meet, discuss with the technical director or whoever is in control and get a clear responsibility to identify what we want to get out of each age-group team, our expectations and how we plan to achieve the expectations.

“We know we can win the World Cup if the players have the discipline and get a proper transition through the age grades.

“I will focus on getting the coaches together on same page and executing the strategy together, with a unique style,” he said

Coach Nsien is a UEFA Licence A coach and also holds UEFA B with professional observation with reputable clubs like Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Benfica and Everton.

He has a wonderful knowledge of youth football having played for Nigeria Under 20 and Under 23 teams in the early 2000s.

His team FC Tulsa are currently unbeaten in the U.S.L Championship with 2 wins and 3 draws and are in line for a championship playoff.

He is the coach of Super Eagles players, Mfon Udoh and Solomon Kwambe and he once played for the youth teams of Nigeria
