Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon have wished Egyptian defender, Aram Tawfik quick recovery after the 24-year old was ruled out of the remain days in 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON in Cameroon.

Tawfik, an Ah Ahly of Egypt defender was injured in the early stage of the Nigeria-Egypt match on Tuesday in Garoua.

The Egypt Football Association EFA on Wednesday confirmed that Tawfik who was making his debut in the tournament, suffered a recurring anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

Simon who continuously tormented the Egyptian rearguard in a 15 seconds video on Thursday asked the defender to be strong.

“I just want to wish the Egyptian player, Aram Tawfik all the best.

“I wish you quick recovery. Please be strong. Cheers,” the Nantes of France attacker said.
