The management of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has shifted the 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) initially slated to hold on Monday 6th, May 2019 at the Hotel Reno, Abuja indefinitely Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The 2019 AGM which was announced by the league body through Chief Operating Officer, Ayo Abdulrahman on Monday 29th April 2019 will no longer hold and the new date for the AGM has not been announced.

The shift of the 2019 NWFL AGM means that the commencement of the Nigerian Women’s League is yet to be known.

This will thus dealt a big blow to the development of Nigeria Women Football League due to lack of football action since the end of last season.

Recall that the 2017/18 NWFL season started on April 7th, 2018 but went on break during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
