Following his appointment and unrivaled leadership sagacity he has shown within months in office as the Chairman of Plateau State Teqball Association, PLATEQ, Chairman of the Association, Mr Miri Timnan Nyantay, popularly known as “MTN” has received commendation letter from the House of Representatives.

The commendation letter tittled “Letter Of Congratulations” was sent to him by Honourable Beni Lar representing Lantag North and South Federal Constituency in Plateau State.

Honourable Lar who is the Chairman House Committee on Science and Technology congratulated Mr MTN on his appointment as the PLATEQ chairman.

Honourable Lar noted that Mr MTN’s appointment did not come to him as a surprise giving his decades track records and experiences in sports administration

The letter reads in part “On behalf of the good people of Langtang North and South Federal Constituency, | write to warmly congratulate you on your appointment as the Chairman, Plateau State Teqball Association.

“Your appointment did not come to me as a surprise considering your decades long love for sports administration and the numerous role you played in promoting sporting activities.

“| am confident that your many experiences in the field will be brought to bear in your new office to reposition the sports sector on the Plateau and beyond.”

Mr MTN was appointed the Chairman of Plateau State Teqball Association PLATEQ in 2020 and since then, he has hit the ground running with innovations and visionary leadership that has set out PLATEQ as the pacesetter among other States associations.

One of the many achievements recorded in a short time is securing an office space for the association as well as Organising exhibition games to boost the profile of the beautiful game in the state.
