Super Falcons midfielder, Rita Chikwelu has expressed her desire to increase her goal tally in the Swedish League which enters match day 7th today.

The Kristianstad DFF Player so far has scored a goal and an assist in the Swedish top flight division and told Bestchoicesports.com.ng in an interview from her base that she desires to increase the tally when her club files out against
Eskilstuna in today’s encounter.

The former FC United of Finland player scored her only goal in the twelve-team Swedish League against Rosengard and gave an assist against Piteå all of which ended in victories for her club.

Kristianstad DFF has recorded 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses to occupy 6th position on the log with 8 points.

“We are playing Eskilstuna today and we need to consolidate on our position. It has not been easy but we are moving up the table gradually.

“I want to increase my goal tally. I scored just once and gave one assist but my desire is to increase the tally. In the two matches I scored or assisted, we won them so if my scoring or assuring can bring us more win, why not?” She told Bestchoicesports.com.ng in an exclusive interview.

Rita Chikwelu is among the 27 preliminary list of players released by Coach Thomas Dennerby for next month’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
