2020/2021 Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL champions, Rivers Angels on Monday booked their place into the maiden edition of CAF Women’s Champions League after a 5-1 win against Ami’s du Monde of Togo in the Semi-final, bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The Nigerian champions reached the finals of the inaugural edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League after beating Togolese side Amis du Monde in the semi-finals of the WAFU Zone B Championship at Robert Champroux Stadium, Abidjan.

Maryann Ezenagu’s brace and goals from Abiodun Deborah, Damilola Koku and Cynthia Aku secured a 5-1 victory for Edwin Okon’s against the Togolese team.

The win also earns the Port Harcourt club a place in the final of the WAFU B Championship, where they will face Ghanaian side Hasaacas — whom they had beaten 2-0 in the group stages.

To reach the final, Hasaacas defeated Burkinababe champions USFA 2-0 in the other semi-final match.
