Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt Thursday inflicted the heaviest defeat of the season on Group A leaders, Rangers International FC of Enugu in the rescheduled Matchday 9 encounter of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL in Port Harcourt, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
The Port Harcourt boys trashed the former champions 3-0 to condemn the Flying Antelopes to their second consecutive away loss in the season.
Rangers, after going 13 match uneaten recently, saw the feat crumb with two losses including a 2-1 loss to Bendle Insurance last week.
