Riyad Mahrez Signs New Two-year Contract With Manchester City

Former Africa Footballer of the Year and Algeria star, Riyad Mahrez have signed an extended new two-year contract with English Premier League Champions, Manchester City, bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
The winger’s deal with City will now running until 2025.
Mahrez’s old deal was due to expire in 2023 but the Algeria winger has now committed his future to the club he joined from Leicester for £60m in 2018.
“I’ve enjoyed every single minute of my time here,” Mahrez, who has won three Premier League titles with City said.
Mahrez who led his country to win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON in Egypt thanked his coach Pep Guardiola and expressed his commitment to help the club achieve more successful seasons ahead.
“It’s a pleasure to be part of such an incredible club. I would like to thank Pep, Txiki and the coaching staff, both for the way they have helped me to develop as a player and for pushing me to continue to improve. Now I just want to try and play my part in helping us be successful next season and beyond.”

The 2022 EPL Champions will begin the defence of their crown in the 2022/2023 season on August 7, with a trip to West Ham United.
