Super Eagle coach, Gernot Rohr, former Super Falcons handler, Thomas Dennerby as well as Falcons captain, Asisat Oshoala have all been nominated for various awards at the 2019 CAF Award night, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

Rohr, who coached the Super Eagles to a third place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt is nominated for the Best men Coach of the Year award while Dennerby is in the running for Best Women Coach of the Year after guiding the team to her 9^th Africa Women Cup of Nations title in Ghana last year and a Round of 16 finish at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.

Super Falcons captain, Assisat Oshoala is shortlisted for the Best Woman Africa Footballer of the Year. She is nominated along her teammates Uchenna Kanu and goalkeeper of the side, Chiamaka Nnadozie.

The winners of the various awards will be announced on January first.
