Suspended Adamawa United Fc coach Mohammed Bello has advised the management of the club to ensure they reorganise the club if they are to maintain their status in the NPFL.

Coach Bello in an Exclusive chat with MAGIC 102.9 FM sports Correspondent Tony Ademodi stated that the teams recent performance on the NPFL can be attributed to their Inability to meet up to some standards required for a professional club.

“I got a letter from the management that I have been suspended for 3 months, and that i should step aside. I thank them for the opportunity that was given me as the teams technical adviser.
So many things went wrong here, which I may not go public, but I want to advice the management that if they want to see this team stay in the NPFL next season, then they should act fast and put their house in order, so as not to go down.

Coach Bello also revealed that the welfare package of the team has not been commendable, and that he hopes the state government will look into the issue.

“This is a club playing in the top flight division of the league, but many things show that we are still far from catching up with some of our rival clubs. In time past, Adamawa United Fc played in the top division, and am sure it wasn’t like this. I know as a coach, you take responsibility of the results recorded in the team, but the management has to also be there for the players and technical crew to perform better.
we’ve lost games, we should not have lost, but the playing personnel has to be beefed up and also who ever comes in as coach will have to buckle up, because am sure that no coach will love to play some of the players i used to prosecute games while as coach of the club. This is my state owned football club, and I can only wish the club the very best’.
