Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, FCT Chapter has congratulated Coach Bartholomew David on his emergence as the new chairman of the FCT Football Coaches Association, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

SWAN FCT Chapter’s congratulatory message was co rained in a relesea signed by the association’s secretary, Mr Chris Onokpegu.

The chairman of the association, Comrade Bunmi Haruna said Bartholomew’s emergence is coming at the right time when the coaches in FCT need a new direction.

While commending the past executive led by Coach Godwin Bamgboye, he urged the new chairman to be up and doing in order not to disappoint those who cast their votes for him.

Mr. Bunmi who is also a certified coach alongside his secretary, Chris Onokpegu, assured Coach Bartholomew that SWAN FCT Chapter is going to work with the Coaches Association in FCT to move it to greater heights.

“I have known Coach David Bartholomew for some years now. He is an upright man and a man that is very objective. I have no doubt that he will do well. We hope to work with him and his ExCo and pray that God will give him wisdom to run the Association well,” he noted.

It will be recalled that David Bartholomew defeated current coach of Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia, Bala Nikyu by 30 to 10 votes to emerge chairman FCT coaches association in an election conducted on Saturday.
