The president of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Comrade Ahmed Aigbona has commiserated with players and officials of FC Ifeanyi Ubah over the unfortunate attack the team suffered on Friday in Kogi State, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

In a release Saturday Mr Aigbona noted that
“The robbery attack suffered by the team in Kogi on their way for the match day 6 fixture in Kano was unfortunate, despicable and unwarranted.”

speaking further the SWAN President gave glory to God that no life was lost and those injured are responding to treatments.

Comrade Ahmed Aigbona, Futher called for “re-enforced security on our highways to reduce the risk of robbery activities on the roads

The president wished those injured speedy recovery and also prayed that such incident won’t visit the sports fraternity again
