Tombin Abuja Open: Bushmuka Of USA Defeats Nigeria’s Emmanuel Idoko

Nigeria has suffered it’s first set back in the on going Tombin Abuja Tennis Open after William Bushmuka of United of America defeated Emmanuel Idoko to progress to the draw stage, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
Bushamuka who is ceded 4th in the championship beat Idoko ceded 9th in a 6-2, 6-4 thriller.
As at the time of this report, Idoko became the first Nigerian to crash out of the competition with his fellow compatriot, Joseph Imeh Ubon progressing to the next round after he worked over his opponent, Joshua Rose of Great Britain.
In other match played simoultaneously, Alexey Dubinin of Russia defeated Arnaud Swanou of Benin 6 – 1, 1 – 6, 10 – 6 to progress to the next level.
Two Nigerians, Sylvester Emmanuel and Tochukwu Emmanuel Eze are currently battling each other in the Centre Court of the Nigeria Tennis in Package B, Abuja National Stadium.
The Tombin Abuja Open will end on Sunday, April 15.
