U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles Friendly Against Central Africa Cancelled

The highly anticipated clash between Nigeria’s U-20 team, the Flying Eagles and their Central Africa Republic, CAF has been called off. Instead, The Ladan Bosso tutored lads will now face Kawkab Athletics Club U-23 of Marrekesh  to wrap up their training camp in Morocco.  

The Nigeria Football Federation who announced the cancellation of the natch did not give reason for the action.

The match with Marekesh U-23 was arranged after the match against CAR U-20 was called off earlier on Tuesday evening.

The game is scheduled  take place on Wednesday by 5pm local time (5pm Nigerian time) at the Complexe Sportif, Sidi Mohammed, Ain Sebaa, Casablanca. 

The game against Kawkab Athletics U-23 will be the last preparatory game before the U20 men’s team take on Junior Teranga Lions of Senegal on Sunday at the Cairo International Stadium.  

The Flying Eagles are expected to leave Casablanca  for Cairo on Thursday morning at 9am.
