World football governing body, FIFA has confirmed Nigeria’s match fixtures, dates, time and venues as the 2022 U-20 Women’s World Cup kicks off in Costa Rica on Wednesday

According the fixtures made available, Nigeria U-20 female team, the Falconets paired in Groups C, will begin their World Cup campaign on Thursday 11 August against European power house, France. The match which will be played by 6pm will hold at the San Jose Estadio Nacional.

The Chris Danjunma-led ladies will play their second match against Korea Republic on Sunday, 14th August at Alajuela Morera Soto by 2pm.

The 2010 and 2014 finalists will round off their group stage preliminaries on 17th against Canada by 8pm

Host nation Costa Rica will play the opening match against Australia on Wednesday, August 10.

Meanwhile FIFA has confirmed the squads for the 16 participating teams including Falconets of Nigeria.
