Victor Moses Saves The Day For Fenerbahce
Chelsea loanee Victor Moses put on an impressive display for Fenerbahce as they went on to record a 1-0 victory over BB Erzurumspor in the penultimate round of matches in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday.
The former Nigeria international was recently named as the most valuable player in the Turkish Super Lig for his explosive exploits throughout the season.
Moses scored a penalty for Fenerbahce in the 59th minute which is enough for the side to go away with three points on the evening.
The Yellow Canaries had a penalty claim when Soldado went down in the area after he was allegedly brought down by goalkeeper Ibrahim Semic, and referee Arslanboga awarded the visitors a penalty after consulting VAR.
The goalkeeper remained rooted to the spot when Moses stylishly converted the penalty and he celebrated his goal with a somersault, then paid tribute to the fictional superhero, Batman.
The right winger, who came on as a substitute in the 25th minute in today’s clash, has now scored three goals in 13 matches in the Turkish top flight.
