Thursday defeated holders Black Queens of Ghana to reach the final of the 2019 WAFU Zone B Women’s Cup

The World Cup-bound Nigerian ladies defeated defending champions and arch rivals 4-2 on penalties after playing goalless in regulation time in the second semi-final of the championship at the Robert Champroux stadium in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivore.

The Thomas Dennerby led side will now take on hosts Cote d’Ivoire in Sunday’s final after they overcame Mali 2-1 in the first semi-final.
