“Why I Resigned As Wikki Tourists Coach” – Abdallah

Coach Usman Shariff Abdallah who resigned his appointment as the Head coach of wikki tourists FC of Bauchi last week had opened up on his decision to quit his position as the Head coach of wikki tourists FC.
“I decided to quit the job based on my personal decision and I did that to protect my integrity due to certain issues within the club which I suggested. I stepped aside to allow the club seek for a solution to such issues within the club and I had an understanding with the club chairman before I took the decision”.
The Kano state born coach also disengaged himself from any comments or story by one of his Assistant, ” I strongly disassociate myself from any comments from anyone about what transpired, I didn’t ask anyone to speak on my behalf and I believe it is just his personal opinion”
“I want to also use this opportunity to thank the Executive Governor of Bauchi, the Emir of Bauchi, chairman wikki Tourists FC and the entire people of Bauchi state for the love and support during my time with the club.”
It was the second time Mr Abdallah has resigned from an NPFL club in two years.
Recall that Mr Abdallah in February 2020 resigned from his position as Enyimba International FC coach after guiding the team to its 8th league title in the 2018/2019 season.
