On Tuesday, a world press conference was held in Abuja, Nigeria’s seat of power to hareld the most iconic friendly match ever to be organised in the country in recent time

The match involving 2019 FCT FA League Champions, WACO Football Academy and Nationwide League One NLO newcomers, Goddosky FC will hold today at the Area 3 Play Ground, Garki Abuja, by 4pm.

The epic friendly organised by Pretty Sports Media (PSM) is set to put Abuja agog and in the oandscape of football showpiece as residents of the Federal capital are encouraged to come out en mass to watch a titanic battle.

Briefing journalists at the media chat, Goddosky FC head coach, Nduka Edmund said that his technical crew are doing everything humanly possible without breaking the rules to win the much anticipated encounter.

Nduka a ex Rangers International Club of Enugu, said the Club is primed for the duel adding that the match is part of preparatory games lined up by the management to fine-tune the team ahead of the 2020 NLO season.

“The game is not just a normal friendly match. We want to use the games to assess and expose our team ahead of the start of the Nationwide League One season.

“So we will be at our best when we play against the FCT league champions because we know that they are a very good side just as our team,” he said.

On his part, WACO FA coach, John Wakili described the match as an idea tonic to help the newly crowned FCT FA League kings for the Nationwide Division One Playoff as well as the FCT FA/Aiteo

“This match is very ideal this moment and we are not going to play it with laxity. We have to be responsible and win this match. We are ready technically and physically, but we have to be focused from the very first minute. The match will serve as a game to prepare the team for the task ahead.

“We have a passion to continue our positive results. We believe in ourselves and we have to play positively

“The match will also help us in our preparations for the Nationwide Division One Playoff and the FCT FA Challenge Cup,” he stated
