World Cup Play-off Fallout: Algeria Football Federation President, Entire Board Resign

Their resignation followed the elimination of Algeria by Cameroon in the play-offs of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers held on Friday and Tuesday

Charaf-Eddine Amara, the president of the Algerian Football Federation, resigned along with the entire FAF board members on Thursday

The Desert Warriors lost 2-1 to Cameroon at home on Tuesday in the 2022 World Cup playoff in Blida. Algeria had a an way goal advantage going into the encounter but late extra time goal from Cameroon forced the game to ended two-all giving the Indomitable Lions the edge on away goal rule.
