The midseason Resumption of the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL has been postponed, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The league which went on midseason hiatus last week after Matchday 19 was scheduled to resume on 18 April but that date is no longer feasible as the organisers of the league has postponed it by more than a week.

In letter dated April 3rd and made available to our correspondent, the League Management Company, LMC announced April 28, 2021 as new date for the league to recommence.

The letter which was sent to all the 20 clubs in the league however noted that the deadline for second transfer window remains unchanged on 14 April, 2021.

“Kindly note that the date for resumption (of the NPFL) is now the 28% April 2021. The second transfer window however closes on 14 April 2021, as earlier communicated.

“The above is for your information and guidance, please,” part of the letter signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar, read.

Kwara United currently top the league after half break but some Clubs Have outstanding matches with Enyimba Leading the pack with four unplayed matches.
