Nigeria’s National U-20 Female football team, the Falconets will take on their Cameroon counterpart in the penultimate qualifying round for the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup holding in Costa Rica, www.bestchoicesports.com.nh can report.

Nigeria, two-time finalists, qualified for the 4th round after their opponents in the 3rd round, Democratic Republic of Congo pulled out of the qualifiers.

Nigeria won the first leg away by 4-0 before the Congolese withdrew from the race.

Similarly, Cameroon reached the 4th round after Gabon withdrew from the race at the 3rd round.

The Confederation of Africa Football, CAF on Tuesday announced the paring and dates for the 4th round.

The fourth round fixtures for the penultimate stage will hold in January and February 2022 with Morocco, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda and Senegal all gunning for the final tickets.

According to the fixtures released, the first leg will hold within 21, 22 & 23 January 2022 which will see Tanzania take on Ethiopia, Uganda facing Ghana, Morocco seeking to upstage Senegal and Cameroon hosting Nigeria

The reverse fixtures will hold on 4, 5 & 6 February 2022. The final two teams will represent Africa at the global U-20 Women’s World Cup.
