Goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi is the first Super Eagles player to arrive the team’s camp in Tangier, Morocco ahead of their 2022 World Cup qualifier against Liberia, www.besychoicesports.com.ng can report.

The Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa safe-hand arrived the camp along with officials of the team from Nigeria on Monday

The team will begin training on Tuesday morning ahead of the all-important match on Saturday.

Super Eagles camp in Morocco opened on Monday as reported on the team’s official Facebook page, Nigeria Super Eagles

“Camp opened today with officials based in Nigeria arriving Tangier at 6pm.

“Goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi is the first player to arrive as he flew with the officials from Lagos, Nigeria,” it confirmed.

“Training starts tomorrow. Work don start!,” It concluded.

Super Eagles need an outright win to sustain their leadership of the Group C in the Qatar 2022 World Cup race.

The team will fly back to Nigeria to face the Blue Shacks of Cape Verde on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Nigeria Tops Group C with 9 pions closely followed by Cape Verde on 7 points. Four points from the two remaining matches are enough to guarantee their passage into the play-off phase.
