In a move to strengthen its goalkeeping department, English Premiership side, Watford Football Club has signed Super Eagles first choices goalkeeper, Madura Okoye, www.bestchoiceaports.com.ng can report.

The Hornets signed the 22 years old from Sparta Rotterdam, a Dutch professional football club based in Rotterdam.

Watford who signed former EPL winning manager, Claudio Ranieri recently confirmed the signing of Maduka on Monday evening.

The signing stakes effect from January 1, 2022 with the former Fortuna Düsseldorf save hand heading back to Rotterdam on long for the reminder of the 2021/2022 league Calendar.

“We’re pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached to sign Maduka Okoye on January 1, 2022.

“The Nigerian goalkeeper joins from Sparta Rotterdam where he will return on loan until the end of the 2021/22 campaign,” the club said.
