AFCON 2019: Super Eagles To Camp In Egypt

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has disclosed that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will camp in Ismailia, Egypt, in preparation for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
The NFF said Wednesday that the three-time AFCON champions will open camp in Ismailia, Egypt on 9th June.
Prior to the Ismailia camp, Gernot Rohr and his lads are expected to first spend a week in Asaba, Delta State capital from June 2nd to 8th where they will play fellow AFCON finalists, Zimbabwe in a warm up match.
According to the NFF, “Three-time African champions will open camp in Asaba, capital of Delta State on 2nd June, ahead of the clash with the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Saturday, 8th June.
“The day after the match with the Warriors, the Super Eagles delegation will depart Asaba aboard a chartered flight for Ismailia, Egypt where they will set up a final training camp.
“The Super Eagles’ delegation will move to Alexandria, on June 17, venue of their Group B games. They take on Burundi on 22nd June, tackle Guinea on 26th June and confront Madagascar on 30th June.
