General Manager, Rangers International FC of Enugu, Prince Davison Owumi has criticised the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and the League Management Company, LMC over their adoption of various inconsistent methodologies in deciding the end of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL seasons, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Prince Owumi who was reaching to the decision of the NFF/LMC to terminate the 2019/2020 NPFL season and adopt Point Per Game system to decide the three clubs that would represent the country in CAF inter-club competitions, noted that for three consecutive seasons, different methods have been adopted to end the league.

He noted that the league managers have severally adopted methods that are not in synchronisation with laid down football rules.

“They’ve changed and adopted three different approaches that are not in tandem with the Rules and regulations governing the competition.

 “In their first outing they cancelled the NPFL due to congested programme; the second they had to beat CAF deadline and now a strange PPG that favoured a few,” Owumi said during a radio programme monitored.

The astute administrator however congratulated Plateau Utd, Enyimba International FC, who will fly Nigeria’s flag in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League as well as Rivers United and Kano Pillars who are Nigeria’s CAF Confederation Cup representatives.
