Four teams, FC Digital Foot, Waco Academy, TBC FC and Abees Academy are through to the semi-final of the ZOOMAX 8-Team Invitational Tournament in Abuja., Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

FC Digital and TBC FC reached the last four without testing defeating and amassed 9 points each making them the tournament favourites.

In the last group games concluded Wednesday FC International and CASMAT FC settles for a 2-2 draw while the clash of the day saw Abees Academy lose 2-3 to FC Digital Foot.

In the other two matches, TBC FC thrashed Garki FC 4-1 just as Waco Academy humbled Karu Academy by 3-0.

Road To The Semis

After 3 days of action in the group stage, in which twelve matches were played among all eight teams, the tournament spirals into the semi-final round.

FC Digital Foot emerged as group A winners after amassing maximum nine points while Abees FA finished second with six points after winning their first two games.

In group B, TBC proved a handful in similar fashion after racking up all nine points and scoring 11 goals in the process.
Waco Academy which had a stuttering start finished in second place with four points to seal qualification into the semi finals.

Semi-final Fixtures, Date

According to the fixtures released, the semi-final matches will hold on Friday, June 27th at Area 3 Play Ground.

In the first match of the day, FC Digital Foot will battle Waco Academy for a place in the final by 2pm.

The second match of the day will see TBC FC trade tackles with ABEES Academy by 4pm

The final of the tournament will hold on Sunday, June 27 at the Area 3 Play Ground.
