Nigeria Rugby Football Federation President, Dr Ademola Are will be rooting for fellow African team, Springboks of South Africa ahead Rugby World cup final against the All Blacks of New Zealand

The President who arrived in France on the invitation of World Rugby Tuesday ahead of the final between South Africa and New Zealand, has picked Springboks to win the tournament.

Dr Are spoke ahead of the final after watching England completed their Rugby World Cup campaign with a victory as they narrowly overcame a proud Argentina performance in the third-place play-off in Paris 26-23.

He commended the organisation of arguably the biggest sporting showpiece in the world while rooting for South Africa to beat New Zealand in the final

“I am rooting for Springboks no doubt but they have also been most technical and tactically sound team at this tournament not minding how close their results have been in the quarter and semi finals

“The Springboks have brought to bear the indefatigable African spirit, the way and manner they have conducted themselves so far at this tournament, I am rooting for them,” he concluded.

The Rugby World Cup final between South Africa and New Zealand will hold today in France by 8pm West Africa time
