Uganda Qualifies For 2022 AWCON After Kenya Withdrawal

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced their withdrawal from the qualifiers of Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2022., AWCON.
“The double-header between Kenya and Uganda, initially scheduled in February 2022 as part of the last qualifying round, is therefore canceled,” CAF announced on Saturday.
Uganda become the first team to join hosts Morocco for the final phase of the tournament which will be played in July 2022.
The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will bring together 12 of the continent’s best teams all battling for the right to be called African champions.
The 12th edition of the continent’s female football fiesta will hold in Morocco from 2-23rd July this year
