The National Centre for Women Development (NCWD), will on Monday, June 10, 2019, induct Super Falcons Assistant Coach, Maureen Nkeiruka Mmadu into the Nigerian Women Hall of Fame.

In a release from the NCWD organisers of event, Maureen will be inducted along with 22 other famous Nigerian Women such as Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Princess Oby Nwankwo, Hajiya Bilikisu Yusuf, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija, Dr (Mrs) Chinyelu Okoli who have excelled in their various areas of endeavors.

Maureen Mmadu is recognised for being the first female Nigerian Coach to handle a top club in Europe and first Nigerian to make 100 appearances for the Women National Team.

Coach Mmadu also Led the Super Falcons to their 9th Africa Women Cup of Nations in Ghana late last year.

In May this year, she also led the home-based Super Falcons to win the West Africa Football Union Women’s Championship held in Cote D’IVoire.

Coach Mmadu is currently with the Super Falcons in Austria where the team is perfecting strategies ahead of the 8th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup to be held in France this June.

The Nigerian Women Hall of fame housed at the National Center for Women Development is an exclusive edifice where records of pre-colonial, colonial and present day Nigeria are publicly acknowledged and exhibited.

The induction will hold on Monday 10 June 2019 at the African Peace Mission Auditorium, National Center for Women Development.
