Nigeria Teams Reach International Handball Trophy Tournament Semi-finals

Nigeria U-18 and U-20 handball male teams, Thursday, continued their winning streak on day 3 of the IHF Trophy Tournament for Africa Zone 3 ongoing in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The U-18 team led by Coach Emeka Nnamani, while not scoring great number of goals as they did yesterday when they defeated Liberia 79-15, comfortably defeated Benin Republic 39-14.
In the same pace, Nigeria’s U-20 team tutored by their gaffer, Coach Fidelis Obi also got a 38-23 win against rival Ghana in a match played just few hours after their under 18 compatriots.
Nigeria will know their semi final opponents in the two categories when all day 3 matches have been concluded.
The winners in both categories will participate in the continental phase of the IHF Trophy Tournament for Africa which will hold in Brazzaville, Congo from December 12 to 18, 2022.
