Hon. Atigwe Lauds Ette Unity Football Championship Organizers

The representative of Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Simon Chukwuemeka Atigwe has praised the organizers of the annual Ette Football Championship for meeting the yearning and aspirations of the youths in the community.
Disclosing this to pressmen at the closing ceremony of the Championship at Ette in Enugu State over the week, Atigwe said the annual football event was well organized by the Ette Youth Stakeholders Forum which comprises all the communities for showing interest and fully participated in the Championship.
He expressed satisfaction on the success of the tournament which usually ends 1st of January each year.
According to Hon. Engr Atigwe, “I was impressed with the performance of the players and the organisers of the Ette Football competition which is aimed at fostering Unity and integration of young people into positive change agents of the society,” he said.
The Federal lawmaker who in May 2022 emerged as the PDP flagbearer for the position, promised to do more in the areas of Job creation, education, security and sponsorship of the 2023 edition of the Etteh Unity Football Championship.
Speaking earlier, the coordinator of the forum, Comrade Dennis Ewaoche, thanked Hon Engr. Atigwe for providing jerseys for all the participating teams in the 2021 edition and his consistent passion for the growth and development of his constituents as well as bringing dividends of democracy to his people.
Comrade Dennis who spoke on be half of all members of the forum endorsed Hon. Engr. Atigwe towards his ambition for second term as Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election because “his exemplary leadership has won him the heart of Ette people.”
According to him, “Hon Atigwe has given the people tremendous reasons why they should trust and vote overwhelmingly for him in his re-election bid.
“The society is in need of deliberate leadership that will help young people reach their full potential, and we are achieving it with your support.
“Sports is a bridge that can bring youths together, harnessing their talents, skill, strength towards development, Education and job creation, ” Dennis, explained.
