The nine-time Africa Champions who played a barren draw against Olympic champions, Canada in their opening game last week, went behind in the added five minutes in first half after Emily Van Egmong put the host ahead in 45+1.

Nigeria will face Ireland on Monday, July 31 by 11am in their last Group B match and the West Africans need just draw to reach the last 16.
