How Crisis Delayed NBBF AGM For Two Years
President, Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), Dr. Engineer Musa Kida has disclosed that the leadership imbroglio that engulfed the federationsince 2017 is responsible for the delay in holding NBBF annual General Meeting for two years, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands.
According BSNsports, it quotes the President as saying that “holding the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) after two years in office should be a day for sober reflection considering the state of of Nigerian basketball in the country.”
Kida blamed the delay in holding the first AGM in two years on the leadership tussle rocking the Nigeria Basketball Federation since 2017 when the board was entrusted with running the affairs of basketball in the nation.
To this end, the President urged all basketball stakeholders in Nigeria to join hands together as it gives opportunity of sharing ideas adding that he is willing to work with
each and every stakeholders in Nigeria who devoid of sentiments.
The AGM is currently ongoing in a hotel in Abuja, the federal capital.
