University of Benin has won the hosting right for the second edition of all Nigerian universities karate championships.
UNIBEN who won the first edition held in UNIABUJA beat the host university to secure the rights, bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
The vice chancellor of great UNIBEN, Professor Faraday F. Osasere Orumwense  has promised to provide the enabling environment for the athletes that will be competing at the championship while encouraging UNIBEN karatakers not to rest on their oars but be prepared because the competition this time around will be tougher.
The event will be held at the Indoor Sports Hall,Sports Complex, University of Benin from November 29th to December 1st 2019 with athletes from all universities in Nigeria participating.
President of Nigeria University Karate Association,Mohammed Mustafa said university provide the ideal environment to nurture the minds of many young Nigerians by combining education,discipline and sports .
