NFF Referee Committee Set To Query Two Officials Over NPFL Matchday 1 Refereeing

The Nigeria Football Federation Referee Committee is set to query two officials over the manner they handled their Matchday 1 matches in the ongoing 2019/20 NPFL season, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
According a release by the publicity secretary, Nigeria Referees Association,
Kelechi Mejuobi, the two referees set to be questioned on Tuesday next week are Prince Isiah who officiated the encounter between Katsina United vs Enyimba and Ahmed Rabiu who handled Heartland vs MFM clash.
The duo are expected to report to the Committee’s office in Abuja Tuesday with detailed reports of the matches.
The release reads:
I have been directed to disclose that the referees who handled the following matches of Week 1, 2019/2020 NPFL;
1.Katsina Utd vs Enyimba
( Prince Isiah, EK)
- Heartland vs MFM
(Ahmad Rabiu, KN)
Are requested by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Referees Committee, to arrive on December 1, 2019 to appear before it on
December 2nd, 2019 in Abuja.
Their invitation to face the committee is in connection with the manner they handled their matches in the opening day of the league.
On arrival, the two referees are expected to report to the Head of Refereeing/ Secretary of the NFF Referees Committee for further details.
