Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa was in action and put up eye-catching performance on Saturday as his club, Fatih Karagumruk picked a point away in the Matchday 2 of the Turkish Super Lig

The former Leicester City of England forward was handed a role to play again in his team’s starting XI following his outstanding performance for the club in their league opener, where he was able to score a goal on his debut which was instrumental in their 4-2 win in the last weekend.

Musa who left Kano Pillars to join the Istanbul club was impressive in the game despite playing out of position as he started at the midfield alongside Ervin Zukanovic.

He played prominent roles for the Francesco Farioli’s side in making sure that they remained unbeaten in their first two games which keeps them going in the competition this season.

The first half of the game was such a balanced one between the two sides as there was nothing to separate them going into the half time break which ended goalless draw.

In the second half of the game, the tempo got tensed up as they both put up some physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to break the deadlock as all efforts to do so were not successful and it ended goalless draw at full time thereby making it no victor no vanquished.

The result of the game has now taken the away team to the 4th spot on the table with 4 points in 2 games played and as such be hoping to be back to winning ways in their next fixture.

Musa and his teammates will have their hand full when the take on Besiktas in their matchday 3 on Saturday, August 28 in another away clash.
