American based Nigerian Coach Micheal Nsien has opened up on the secrets that will enhance youth football development in Nigeria.

According to him, Nigeria is blessed with qualities that can rule the world in major tournaments and more scientific approach should be adopted in training young talents.

” We need to take a more scientific approach and get coaches to understand the way skill is developed through the brain”. He told NSM

He stated further, that coaches must understand how to train the brain in football specific practices, which ensure players are actually learning and improving their ability.

Mike Nsien who is the Head coach of FC Tulsa in the United States of America’s second division, the NSL Championship, expressed confidence that the Nigeria national football teams will conquer Africa again.

He describes how best to help young players use their brains to process information on and off the field.

“The brain is responsible for everything we do as human beings. Training should be focused on the brain”, he stated.

He also opined that, players ability to process information and come up with solutions in the form of a relevant motor skill, should be encouraged.
