Awwal Abubakar On Target As Bournemouth Thrash Southampton In Hampshire FA Cup

Nigeria’s rave of the moment, Awwal Abubakar was on target on Sunday as his club Bournemouth Sports whitewashed Southampton 7-1 in the Hampshire FA Cup
The Nigerian star who came off the bench in the second half, scored the 7th goal of the encounter in the 86th minute following a fine solo run and shot in the far corner ensuring Sports go into the next round of the Cup.
Bournemouth Sports began the match in ascendency when a through ball over the top picked out Polish winger Karol Borowskk to cut inside and score in the first minute of the game.
Sports got their second in the 22nd minute through Matt Gane after heading home inside the 18-yard box from a Josh Moody free kick.
The hosts responded a minute later capitalising on a loose ball and their player hit a thunderbolt of a shot which flew inside the top corner to reduce the deficit.
The two-goal lead was quickly restored when Jack Voisey pounced on a defensive mistake to square to KAROL BOROWSKI to score his second of the afternoon and restore a two-goal lead for the visitors from Bournemouth, as it was 1-3 before half time.
Sports maintained their momentum in the scored half and scored again in the first minute when Jamie Trimble headed home from a Joe Cresdee corner to make it 4-1.
Man of the match, Karol Borowski went on a fine run and squared to Josh Moody to fire Sports 5-1 ahead on 65 minutes before another substitute James Bergin made it 6-1.
The 7-1 victory ensured that Bournemouth Sports progressed to the next stage of the competition. Farnborough FC are defending champions.
