Restoration Starlets spanked defending champion’s Ocean Boys of Brass by four goals to one at the Samson Siasia Stadium Yenagoa to advance to the next round.

Roland Vidah gave Starlets the lead in the 35th and 43rd minute of the game respectively while Ocean Boys only goal was scored in the 45th minute by Yerinson George just before the halftime break

Ocean Boys will next face Edock Fc of Kolo next week in their final group game at the Samson Siasia Stadium to round up state league campaign.

Action will now return on Friday in group B Divine Grace Fc of Famgbe will take on United Fc of Okaka Feeders by 1pm while group B leaders Ororo Fc will square off against Fc Ebiede of Amassoma by 3pm.

Shortly after the encounter experience technical adviser of the Restoration Starlets Dipreye Teibowei said his target is for the team is beyond playing in the state league,adding that his primary aim is to expose them to bigger teams in the world.

While Head Coach of Ocean Boys Preye Okayan attributed the defeat to lack of preparation and the soggy nature of the pitch.
